We frequently receive questions about when the next game world will start - and especially our short-term game worlds Quimby, Otto and Yeager have been very popular recently. But the next re-start of Quimby is still two months away and we’re sure nobody wants to wait that long for a fresh game world ;-) So our general goal is to provide you with a more predictable schedule for short-term game worlds and we decided that we’ll try to have a new launch roughly every two months with those game worlds running for 10 months each time. That’s why today’s the perfect day for an additional game world!

The game world Bleriot is time-limited and will run for 10 months until 23rd February 2021.

Patch

We’re also rolling out a small patch today. For our new game world, we added 400 new airports to the game. This includes the long-awaited Beijing Daxing airport now added to AirlineSim! All new airports are scheduled to be added to other game worlds in a future update as well.

Apart from the airports, we’ve rolled out a patch for all game worlds that addresses two issues with the new financing and interest rates. Some airlines reported a higher debt shown in their balance sheet than they actually had. Today's patch will take care of that. Also, we’ve addressed the interest rates for loans without securities. Those are now considerably lower again, while still staying a fair margin above standard interest rates. All interest rates are now shown as yearly figures on each game world index page.
