How time flies... today we're already launching the 10th incarnation of our Quimby game world! Originally started in 2014 with the idea of providing a beginner's game world, it has evolved into today's concept of time-limited game worlds, that provide more game world launches on a regular basis. Quimby X will retain almost the same configuration as its predecessor, so you can get started right now on Quimby X.

As with every instance of Quimby, Quimby X is time-limited and will run for 10 months until 30th April 2021.

Data Patch

All game worlds will receive the latest airport data patch. You can find a complete list of all changes here.

We are also switching all game worlds to the new relative demand data. Just a reminder: This means that some routes may see less demand than they did in the past, even though the overall demand increases. The new relative demand data (aka where passengers want to fly from airport X) has been sucessfully used on all recent time-limited game worlds and is more realistic and more up to date. You should monitor and adapt your airline accordingly, in case you play on an older game world that hasn't used the new relative demad data yet.

The airport size updates listed in the PDF will only take effect on Quimby X (and in all future game worlds), while slot updates, demand updates and new airports are updated on all game worlds in the same way.

There's also a small update regarding the aircraft data: Due to the takeover by Mitsubishi, you will now find all CRJ models listed unter MHI RJ Aviation on the manufacturer page.
