Yep, that's half a decade! On August 23rd, 2007, our very first game world based on the current major version of AirlineSim opened its gates. The launch marked a beginning of a new era in AirlineSim's history: The previously buggy and  slow software was thrown out and replaced by a completely new system, rebuilt from scratch, which serves as the  the foundation of the game as we know it today and which introduced probably the most important core feature of AirlineSim to date: The ORS.

And yet, after so many years, countless updates and many ups and downs, Kaitak is still going strong, with some of the airlines founded on the first day still operating and striving. It's a testament to how stable and mature AirlineSim has become over the last couple of years compared to its early beginnings as a pure hobby project and we are determined to further pursue this path.
